All, I can say is THANK GOD for lenient judges. My court date was today and the judge was just handing out PBJs like there was no tomorrow. So, that was the last of my worries off my shoulder. Now, the fun part comes where I buy a new car and have to get new insurance and I can focus on the wedding plans again!! YAY! So, that is all. Everything worked out for the best and I am grateful for all the force that came together to allow me to live the best life I can. It has been a good week! That's about all. Much love to all.

I don't have a house to decorate yet, but I will.

Snow on Christmas. It's only happened a few times in my lifetime.

Absolutely

Lots and lots of ornaments from varying aspects of life with lights galore. I always put the angel on the tree.

Love it except when I really have someplace to be in a hurry.

Absolutely not. Stupid rolly ankles.

I have a favorite every year, but not really one that stands out.

Christmas music

Every holiday dessert

Opening all the presents on Christmas morning with the whole family.

I don't have a real tree yet, but it will probably be an angel or a star.

I enjoy both cause seeing people's faces light up is a joy, including my own.

Hey there everyone,

So I am really really bored. I can't even describe to you how bored I am. I'm sitting at my new desk using a computer that's not mine cause they haven't set me up with a password yet. So my dad got me a computer. This is why I love my dad. But anyway, my supervisor isn't here today so I'm stuck here with the silent room until 4:30. Time cannot move any slower. I've finished everything I need to finish for today. The other guy really has nothing for me to do. I don't know where to go from here. I can't wait til tomorrow when Jeannette gets back and I have things to do. Anyway, that's my update. So far the only website I can't access is facebook....so I guess that's a good thing.

I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!

Really, that's all I wanted to say. I just have to wait to hear the final decision from HR, but it's in the bag. I won't have to work outside all winter. My car will finally stop hating me. I can finally eat leftovers from lunch that are hot. I don't have to wear 700 layers of clothes to work. I get to use a real bathroom all day. I get my own desk! I'm so excited, I can hardly wait to quit. But anyway, just to let you all know....thanks for the best wishes.

So, I've been working at my job for a little over 2 years now. I've taken maybe 4 sick days this entire time. And of course, I knew that when I called out this morning, they were going to give me the 5th degree. But this job isn't all it's cracked up to be after 2 years. I sent out a couple of applications for HR jobs in July, hoping something would pan out.
Well, it did. I had an interview today. And let me tell you, it was awesome. I'd be working in a file room helping them transfer all their files to paperless. I really hope that I get this job. It would be my dream job. So keep me in your thoughts. They make a decision next week.

But yes, as I was saying, my job makes me mad. I really don't know how much longer I can stay at this job. I'm starting to get pissed off just at going to work everyday. That's why I'm really hoping that I aced this interview today. They look at me to do all this work, yet they expect me to do more. I'm sorry that I have a life outside of this job. I'm sorry that I don't want to make working outside with radioactive material my life's work. I would like a steady flexible schedule in which taking a day means that I actually don't have to worry about my boss calling me and asking why I have to take off. It's just rude. He actually called me this afternoon to talk about how sick I really was. If he was actually concerned, I would feel better, but he wasn't. He just wanted to call me out on the fact that I called out today. Well, why do I get the short stick when it calls to taking a mental health day. I don't want to work there anymore. I don't think that anybody really wants to work in construction forever. I'd rather not be responsible anymore for telling contractors how to do their job. I don't appreciate being taken for granted.

I know this was a rant, but I really need to get that off my chest. It's just been bugging me. Although, the good news is that things for the wedding are progressing along nicely. Brian & I have our first marriage prep meeting tomorrow evening. We have to go to like 6 of them before they will certify us ready for marriage. Saturday, I'm going to a church bazaar with Debbie & to her Halloween party afterwards. Then Sunday, I think Brian & I are going to the movies. I'm just going to think good thoughts this weekend and hope for the best. They only bad thing is that I'd have to put my two weeks notice in to end the week of thanksgiving. It means they probably wouldn't give me a bonus check, which was really nice last year. But I would at least not have to work for 2 straight weeks. I know that I'm getting my hopes up, but I can't think of what else to do. I really really really want this job. I probably would take any job if it meant that I got to leave my current job, however I actually want this job. (That's the bonus!)

The cats have gotten big, especially Jack. Rachel still has the big body, small head going on. They have also taken to acting very strange at night. They start scratching the TV & computer screens. They sit on the PS2 or the keyboard. But Brian & I love them, nonetheless. I'm going shopping with the girls next week to get their bridesmaid dresses ordered. Yay! Brian & I started to look at stuff to put in the registry. That was fun. We picked out a lot of fun stuff, like a big screen tv & a wet bar for the house. It's so nice thinking that in less than a year I'm going to be living in my very own house and I'm only 25. I get a house with essentially free rent and free internet for 3 years. I still can't believe that I'm getting married. It's just such a weird feeling. I know it's right, but it just feels like I'm getting old. Next thing you know, we're going to planning for kids and another house of our own, new car for me.....etc etc. Although, the sad thought I had the other day. This will be the last family Thanksgiving in Brian's house with everybody since his parents are moving to England.

So far this birthday is starting out well. I got a digital camcorder, a portable DVD player.....and RICKY MARTIN TICKETS!!!!!! I'm going to see Ricky Martin on Friday with Brian cause Trina rocks my socks. Best birthday present ever. Other than that, going bowling with friends on Saturday night for my party. If anyone is in the greenbelt area then, let me know. Anyway, I gotta go to work now. Much love to all.

I know that I haven't written here in awhile, but I know that some of you are obsessed with reading LJ....so I thought I'dgive you some news. Last week, I was on vacation in the Bahamas which was awesome. If you ever get the opportunity to go....do it. Anyway, while I was there Brian proposed to me. I'm getting married!!!
